HERSH, Myer. On Friday, December 19, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Perle and the late Gwen. Devoted father and father-in-law of Harry and Penny, Murray and Maureen Hersh. Cherished Poppy of Chris and Andrea, Annissa and Sylvain, Kaiti, Keli, Sam, and Madi. Proud great-grandfather of Isaac, Benjamin, Julia, and Jordana. Predeceased by his brother, Sam (Nathalie), and sisters, Sue (Joe) Shalofsky, Kate (Saul) Rishstone, and Anne (Ruby) Chelnick. Brother-in-law of Miriam and Ralph Weiner, the late Arnold and the late Genie Kramer, and Irene and the late Alexander Klein. Myer will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of The Waldorf for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 22, at 1 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private, ending Wednesday evening.
