VAIDA, Eugene. On Friday, November 14, 2008, in his ninety-sixth year, after a brief illness. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Vali, his sisters, Lily Varadi and Ibolya Frankel, as well as many nephews and nieces. Eugene was born in Romania, lived in London, Paris and Munich before choosing Quebec City, and then Montreal as his home. He will always be remembered as a pillar of strength and inspiration for the whole family, and will be deeply missed. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Monday, November 17, at 2 pm. Burial at Anshei Ukrania Congregation Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. The family requests that shiva be done in private. |
