FREEMAN, Samuel Peacefully, after a long and enjoyable life, on Friday, January 4, 2019, in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband of Doris Lenet for sixty-two years. Loving father of Lorne and his special friend Alexandra, Ron and his partner Luke. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Freda Wingrad, Janet and the late Max Frieman, the late Sybil and the late Barney Shorr; and brother-in-law of Ruby and the late Edward Heft, Claire and Lawrence Bordoff, Hector and Irene Lenet, Arnold Lenet and the late Phyllis Levine-Lenet. Sam will be sadly missed by his beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane.
