Obituary BRONET, Henia (nee Rozenblat) Holocaust Survivor It is with great sadness that we announce Henia's passing on Monday, July 1, 2019. A Holocaust survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, Majdanek, Auschwitz-Birkenau, death march, and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps and German displaced persons' camps. Henia is mourned by her beloved husband of seventy-three years, Wolf; her children, Sandy and Henri Elbaz, and Moish Bronet. Proud grandmother of Ilan, Joshua, and Rachelle Elbaz; Zohar and Samson Bowen-Bronet. Dear sister of the late Jimmy Rozenblat - her only relative who survived the Holocaust, and sister-in-law of Miriam Rozenblat of London, England. Sister-in-law of the late Sam and the late Pearl Bronet, the late Adele and the late Al Mark, the late Henry and the late Elaine Bronet. Her parents, Yankel and Sura Rozenblat, perished in the Holocaust, and her brothers, Monyek and Benyek, perished in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Henia will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and many friends. As per Henia's wishes, a graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m., at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina New Section (B-7), de la Savane. Shiva at her home: 5500 Macdonald Ave. #706, Cote Saint-Luc H3X 2W5, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Donations in Henia's memory may be made to Canadian Magen David Adom for Israel, (514) 731-4400, or to the charity of your choice.
