GOLDSMITH, Irving Sadly, on Friday, May 25, 2012, in his ninety-eighth year. Beloved husband of Ethel Goldstein for seventy-two years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Richard and Gail, David and Eileen, Arthur and Jan. Cherished Grandpa of Jodi Goldsmith and Dr. Stephen Gelber, Aaron Goldsmith, Thomas Goldsmith, and Ilana Goldsmith. Proud great-grandfather of Evan, and Brandon. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses David, Ben, Mac and Bess, Anne and Saul, Sam and Lil, Jack and Gert, Sid and Ruby, Ida, and Manny. Irving will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and family. Special thanks to the staff at the King David and Centre Henri Bradet Residences for their compassionate care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 29 at 12:15 pm. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane. Shiva at his son David's home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm daily. Contributions in Irving's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
