GRANNER, Freda (nee Abramson) October 5, 1927 – November 24, 2016 Peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in her ninetieth year. Beloved wife and best friend of Sammy for sixty-nine years. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Francine, Brian and Elisheva, Marty and Sanda. Cherished Bubby of David and Alicia, Jonathan and fiancee Dana, and the late Michael Marmaros; Mordechai and Danielle Granner, Sharon and Maayan Fox, and Michal Granner; Tamara, and Jordan Granner. Proud great-grandmother of Aaron, Yahel and Ilay. Daughter of the late Moishe and the late Sara. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Edith and the late Jack Feldman, Saundra and the late Joey Abramson (the late Lily). Predeceased by Eli and Riva, Simon and Ellen, Isaac and Grace Abramson; Fanny and Frank Strolovitch, Benny and Shirley Granner, Sylvia and Hy Cogan, and Gerald Granner. Special thanks to her caregivers, Dr. Peter Lipes, the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital and CLSC Rene-Cassin. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina New Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her home from 1:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
