BROWNSTEIN, Fanny (nee Kasirer). Peacefully in her one hundred and first year, surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, March 21, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Ben. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Vicki Garber and Ben Vogel, David and RoseLee, Dr. Carl and Margaret. Cherished Bubbie Fanny of Jodi and the late Dr. Ian Rubins, Lee-An and Gert Verhees, Lisa and Lawrence Moscovic, Julie and Trif Saros, Joe, Daniel, and Saul Brownstein. Proud great grandmother of ten. Predeceased by her sisters Sarah and Anne and her brother Max. She will be fondly remembered by Mary Colodny, Harriet Brownstein her family and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Dr. Bailey for his care, to Ellen Tissenbaum for her ongoing support and to Jeni, Youli and Jasmin for their devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, March 23 at 3:45 p.m. Burial at the Anshei Ukraina Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at 5885 Cavendish.
