GERTSMAN, Sylvia (nee Katz). On Thursday April 12, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Ralph. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Bonnie (Neiman) of Vancouver, Peggy and Gerry Shapiro. Cherished Grandma of Michael and Sophia, Philip and Keren, Neil, Tina and Jeff. Great-grandmother of Joshua, Shira; Oriana, Liron. Predeceased by her sister Rae, and brother Sam. Sister-in-law of Lou and Betty Gertsman, Irvin and Lee Gertsman, Lil and the late Saul Gertsman, the late Bertha and the late Lou Weinstein. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and family. The family wishes to thank Rodney, and the staff of the 5th floor south at Maimonides for their exceptional care. Special thanks to her companions Heather and Jasmine for their compassion and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W on Sunday April 15 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraine Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 1455 Sherbrooke St. W.
