LEWIS, Betty (nee Toulch) Peacefully, in her one hundred and second year, on Monday, July 16, 2018. Wife of the late Alec Lewis. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Jerry and Roslyn, Peter and Shirley Ann, the late Lorraine and the late Larry. Cherished "Grandma Betty" of Cary Lewis, Hayley Wine, Gayle Cohen, Sharon Cohen and Andre Moryoussef, Lorne Cohen; Anthony Elman and Jacqueline Stein, Franklin Elman, Dana Beth Lewis; Sheldon Bilmes and Heidi Eisenberg. Proud great-grandmother of Indigo, Alex, Lilah and Elyse; George and Cassandra; Avi and Noah; Alexia and Jessica; Myles and Charlotte; Dylan; Adam and Abby. Betty will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Freda and Nick Ostin, Bertha and Herbert Cohen, Gertrude and Ruby Staviss, Harold Toulch and by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Dr. Reuben Lewis and Bea Lewis, Rose and Harry Engels, Dena and Max Marcus. Special thanks to her caregiver Rachel Cynamon for her love and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 18 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane.
