BASS, Lily (nee Sinzofsky) Surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, October 20, 2014 in her eighty-ninth year. Beloved wife of the late Sydney. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Gloria Bass, Lawrence and Elizabeth Bass, Gloria and Dwaine White. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Richard Jakobiw; Christopher, and Emma Bass; Shayna, and Sarah White. Proud great-grandmother of Gabriel, and Dylan Jakobiw. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Minnie and the late Herb Cohen; and sister-in-law of the late Evelyn and the late Saul Steinberg, Mona Lisa and the late Ronald Bass, Judy and the late Issie Friend, Edna and the late Norman Bass, Joan and the late Henry Bloom. Sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Castel Royale and of the Lev Tov Residence for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane.
