KATZ, Joe Suddenly, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of ninety-two. Caring husband of Ida Novack for sixty-eight years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Marlene and Isaac Schwartz, Shelley and Michael Horlick. Adored Zaidie of Dr. Blair Schwartz and Sabrina Lajoie, Glen Schwartz and Erin Nadler; Raquel Horlick, Kevin Horlick, and the late Samantha Horlick. Proud great-grandfather of Nathaniel. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Archie and Ruth Katz, Sarah and the late Phil Katz; and brother-in-law of Rita and Mickey Schmidt, Gertie Piernick. Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Canadian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
