RIPSTEIN, Richard (Rip) Suddenly on Monday, July 10, 2017. Beloved son of Helene and the late Horace Ripstein. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Diane Ripstein, Laurel and Dan Freedman. Proud uncle of Noah and Lucas Ripstein Walker, Erica and Jonathan Burton, Miriam and Bobby Burroughs. Great-uncle of Lennie, Harvie, and Brooklyn. Richard will also be sadly missed by his aunts Selda Leibovitz and Rhona Hoffman, his many cousins, dear friends and by all those with whom he played sports over the years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 71 Stratford Rd, Hampstead, Friday following burial. The family will be receiving visitors, to celebrate Richard's life on Saturday, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Ruby Foo's Hotel.
