SINGER, Gerald (Gerry) Suddenly and peacefully, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Beloved husband of Lorraine Taran for fifty-seven years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Viva, Sarella, Tara and Kenny, Adam and Pascale. Treasured Grandpa of Rhea and Danny; Noah, and Sasha; Max, and Josh; Sofia, Jackson, and Ava. Very proud great-grandfather of Owen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Shirley and Murray Shenkman, the late Beverly and the late Saul Cooner, and brother-in-law of Danny and Liane Taran. Gerry will be remembered with love by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends, both old and new. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 2 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
