ADES, Fernande (nee Cohen) Peacefully, on Monday, January 7, 2019, in her eighty-sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Henri. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Terry Ades and David Brown, David and Patricia Ades, Kim Ades and Allan Friedman. Loving Nona of Flannery Brown and Jason Knecht; Vanessa, Simone, and Henry Ades; Louis and Ferne Kotlyar, Jonathan, Michael, and Brian Friedman. Bis Nona of Gabe and Russell. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Racheline and the late Soly Cohen, Raymond and Tzvia Cohen, Samy and Sarah Cohen, Maurice and Irina Cohen, Emil Cohen and Liliane Freiman; and sister-in-law of Odette and the late Nissim Avrashi, Liliane and Andre Hozer, Mireille and the late Roger Hotter, the late Gracia and the late Charles Assine, the late Émile and the late Joëlle Ades, the late Nanda and the late Marco Zevy. Fernande will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Magie, Linda, Mildred, Joann, Brian, Arthur and Paul for their care and compassion, and to the staff of the Waldorf Residence. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 9 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
