MERMELSTEIN, Sara (nee Zattz) It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dear mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and sister, Sara Mermelstein, on Thursday, June 9, 2016. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Ari Mermelstein. Survived by her loving daughters, Ida (Howard Kalisky) and Helen Karen (Nathan Peres), her grandchildren, Dana, David and Rachel; Danielle and Amir, Samy, and Raphael. Sara will be sadly missed by her sister, Frida Iochpe of Brazil, her nieces, nephews, family and all of those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank her caregivers for their loving care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6014 Krieghoff St., C.S.L., following burial until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends Friday afternoon.
