BEN SABAT, Jack (Ithac) Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, February 15, 2016, in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband of Stella Itescu. Dedicated father and father-in-law of Michael and Susan, Rachel, Leah and Mitchell Fox, Marie and Daniel Asraf. Cherished 'Saba' of Sarah, Elysa, Ruth, Samara, April, and Aviva; Erica, and Aaron; David, Gabriel, and Jack. Proud great-grandfather of Zackary. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Alice and Hanania Suissa, Simi and the late Yosef Ohayon, Joseph and Simcha Benshabat, the late David, the late Rachel, and the late Marie. Jack was an Israeli pioneer and War Veteran, who will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 445 Dufferin Rd., Hampstead, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
