LEVINE, Solly ("Dinky") Former general manager of the Lac St. Louis Lions Midget Hockey Club. Peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2016 in his ninety-seventh year. Son of the late Morris and the late Rachel Levine. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen Szuper for fifty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Donna Wilkes, Barbara and Frank Karwowski, and Murray Levine. Proud grandfather of Justin and Amanda Wilkes, Adam and Elva Wilkes, Ethan Wilkes; Jamie Karwowski, Kenneth Karwowski and fiancee Dana Burns. Adoring brother and brother-in-law of Helen Novak Ostroff and the late Carl Novak, Goldie and the late Sender Wasserman, the late Sydney Levine, and brother-in-law of the late Joanna and the late Kasimir Lakomy. Solly will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to his caregivers Merle, Nelli and Mildred for their compassion and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
