BELFER, Florence (nee Sacks) On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in Ottawa. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Mac Samson Belfer. Cherished mother of Heather, Hal and Roberta, and much-loved mother-in-law of Howie Saunders and Susanne Evans. Adored grandmother of Kayla, Jaime, Liam, and Jordan. Devoted daughter of the late Mollie and the late Harry Sacks, and daughter-in-law of the late Leon and the late Helen Belfer. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Sheila and Ellie Schecter, the late Irving and the late Gloria Sacks, and sister-in-law of the late Hannah and the late Ruth Belfer. Treasured aunt of Robyn Schecter and Jeffrey Pevzner, Howie Schecter; Harlan, and Warren Sacks. Special great-aunt of Haylee Schecter-Pevzner. Florence will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
