BELFER, Mac Samson Our family deeply mourns the sudden loss of Mac Samson Belfer, on Monday, January 5, 2015, in Ottawa. Beloved husband and best friend of Florence Belfer (Sacks). Cherished father of Heather, Hal, and Roberta, and much loved father-in-law of Howie Saunders and Susanne Evans. Adored grandfather of Kayla, Jaime, Liam, and Jordan. Devoted son of the late Leon and the late Helen, and son-in-law of the late Mollie and the late Harry Sacks. Predeceased by his beloved sisters, Hannah and Ruth. Much loved brother-in-law of Sheila and Ellie Schecter, the late Irving and the late Gloria Sacks, and much loved uncle of Harlan and Warren Sacks, Robyn, and Howie Schecter. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 7 at 1 p.m. Shiva private in Ottawa. |
