KASNER, Edward Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, December 22, 2014, in his ninety-fifth year. Beloved husband of Bella Solak for fifty-six years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Oscar and Marilyn. Cherished Zaida of Amy and Paul. Dear brother-in-law of Rita and Irving Baron, the late Mary and the late Jerry Weissfeld, the late Zelda Solak, Henny and the late Mendy Solak. Eddie will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and all of those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Oscar's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Sunday evening.
