DWORKIN, Ida (nee Pekofsky) Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Devoted and the best mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Jackie of Calgary, Gena Ray and Harvey Finkelstein. Cherished Bubbie Ida of Sean Ray. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Max and Ettie Pekofsky, the late Peter and the late Mitzie Pekofsky, the late Jack and the late Henna Pekofsky, the late Abie and the late Sophie Pinsky, the late Saidie and the late Shya Dubrofsky, the late Ida and the late Jack Ruckenstein; and sister-in-law of Mona and the late Jack Abrams, Rita and Mel Berger. Ida will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Olga, Naz, Nina and Marina, for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5576 Randall Ave., C.S.L., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, ending Sunday evening, June 5.
