DWORKIN, Norman Peacefully, on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Beloved husband of Ida for sixty-seven years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gary and Jackie of Calgary, Gena Ray and Harvey Finkelstein. Cherished Papa of Sean Ray. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mona and the late Jack Abrams, Rita and Mel Berger; and brother-in-law of Peter and the late Mitzie Pekofsky, Max and Ettie Pekofsky; predeceased by his other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Norman will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him; he was a kind and gentle soul. The family wishes to thank the Stroke Team and the staff of the Jewish General Hospital, and of 6 South at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Special thanks to his wonderful caregivers Ghada and Christine. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 4555 Bonavista, # 1004 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Tuesday evening.
