GITELMAN, Judith Esther (nee Fink) Peacefully, on Saturday, March 23, 2013, after a fearless battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Henry Gitelman for fifty-four years. Dedicated and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Lewis Gitelman and Debra Teitelbaum, Akiva, and Jay Gitelman. Treasured grandmother of Julian, Dustin and Mira. Sister-in-law of Morris and Roz Gitelman, Rosa Belorusskya and the late Shepsel Gitelman. Predeceased by her brother Robert and sister-in-law of Lila. Aunt of Jeffrey, Debbie and Michelle; Mitchell, Jason, Robin, Dinah and Steve, Brian and Cathy. A prolific poet, tennis ace, music and book lover. She was a dear and trusted friend to many. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 28 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6005 Cavendish Blvd. #303, C.S.L. Due to the festival of Passover, the shiva will commence on Wednesday, April 3, through Friday, April 5. Shiva hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
