It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Huguette Hazan on Thursday July 23, 2020, beloved wife of the late Ibrahim Hazan (Z''l), mother and devoted step-mother of Marie and Claude Cohen, Moïse Hazzan and Lucie Masliah, Olga and Jean-Jacques Lavoie, Simone and the late Pierre Duchet (Z''l); beloved grandmother of Emmanuel, Alexandre (Erica Frankel), Anouck, Yohann (Maayane Elkaïm), Sébastien and Nicolas; and proud great-grandmother of Arlo. From Aleppo to Beirut, then Budapest, Prague, Evian and Montreal, Huguette has never lost her legendary good humor and her great generosity. Modern woman, feminist in her own way, she was loved by all and will be missed by her family and friends around the world. |
