ASSAYAG, Esther (nee Cohen) Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, December 27, 2010. Beloved wife of David. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Leon and Nicole, James and Valerie, Pearl and Sam Grinfeld. Cherished "Mamie" of Laura, David, Daniel, Gabrielle, David, Lea and Sarah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of David Cohen of France, Fortunee and the late Charles Azoulay, Joseph Cohen of Israel, Maurice Cohen, and the late Isaac Cohen. Esther will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
