EDELSTEIN, Melvin. On Saturday, January 3, 2009. Beloved son of the late Sam and the late Sarah. Loving brother of Robert Edelstein of Montreal, and Linda Edelstein of San Francisco. Cherished nephew and cousin to many. Lifelong member of the Miriam Home where he was cared for with utmost respect and kindness, and where he had many friends and extended family. A very special person, a gentle soul, and an avid sports fan. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 6 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
