It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sylvia on Saturday, February 16, 2019, in her one hundred and third year. Beloved wife of the late Sol. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jeffrey and Susan Finestone. Cherished Bubby of Jaclyn and Michael. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack Frank and Roz Axelrad, David and Judy Frank, the late Ray and the late Henry Azeff, the late Pauline and the late Myer Fine. Sylvia will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Sandy and Paul as well as their outstanding staff at Beit Chai Residence for their kindness, care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5720 Cavendish Blvd. #1709 (code 167), C.S.L., on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Donations in Sylvia's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
