BANON, Roger BANON, Simone (nee Elkeslassy) It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic accidental death of husband and wife, Roger and Simone Banon, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Devoted parents to their children and their spouses, Andre Banon and Lisa Plotnick, Marcel Banon, Elisabeth Banon and Ron Gordon. Cherished 'Mimi' and 'Papi' of Katherine and Jennifer Banon; Morgan and Jeremy Gordon. Simone will be remembered by her dear siblings and their spouses, Joseph and Georgette Elkeslassy, Salomon and Aïda Elkeslassy, Michel and Celia Elkeslassy, Raymond and Mady Elkeslassy, and the late Jacqueline Benayer. Roger will be remembered by his treasured siblings and their spouses, Charlot and Clothilde Banon, Arlette Banon and Guy, Simon and Judith Banon. In addition, Roger and Simone will be sadly missed by their many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 10 at 9:30 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Elisabeth and Ron's home Sunday following burial until 6:30 p.m., Monday to Wednesday from 7:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., following evening services at 6:30 p.m. at Kol Yehoudah: 6501 ch.
