NUDEL, Gregory. After a lengthy illness, on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Born May 31, 1912 in Rovno, Ukraine. Cared for valiantly and selflessly by Bella, his wife of fifty-nine years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Isadore Issie Nudell and Sandy Shtevi, Roslyn Nudell and Laurence Wall of Ottawa. Also survived by his daughter Nellie in Israel and her son George Kandelaky of Montreal. Beloved Zayda of Elana, Natalie, Ariella, Alexa and Jonathan. Predeceased by his parents, three brothers and one sister who perished in the Holocaust. Special thanks to Connie and the supportive members of the Laryngectomy Support Group and the Oncology and Radiation Departments at the Jewish General Hospital, the kind staff of CLSC Cote-des-Neiges and the Palliative Care Ward of Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
