GREENBAUM, Martin August 26, 1929 - November 29, 2017 Peacefully, with dignity and grace, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, after a wonderful life. Devoted and beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy Kerbel for sixty-two years. Adored father and father-in-law of Marla and Jay Rosen, Bram Greenbaum and Chantal Desjardins, Gayle Greenbaum and Richard Farb. Proud Grandpa of Steven Rosen and Elizabeth Chertkow, Mark Rosen, Kara Rosen and fiance Oren Falkovitch; Kyle, and Jake Greenbaum; Sarah, and Matthew Farb. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Sari and the late Isidore Greenbaum, Honey and the late Joseph Greenbaum. Martin will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and colleagues for his warmth, humour and generosity. The family wishes to acknowledge with deepest gratitude the staff of the ICU at the Montreal General Hospital for their compassion, devotion and exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., Montreal, on Friday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Montreal at 2333 Sherbrooke St. W. (if front entrance is closed, use side entrance at 3405 Atwater Ave.), through Monday evening, continuing in Toronto at his daughter Gayle's home Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in Martin's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
