MARGULIES, Joseph Passed away quietly on the evening of Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the age of ninety-six. Born in Vienna, February 14, 1915. Escaped to Israel in 1938 with a violin, a tool box, and five dollars in his pocket. Emigrated to Canada in 1953 with his loving wife, Rachel, and son, David. In the next fifty years, he built up several businesses, and continued to work until he was ninety-four years old. Joseph leaves behind his loving wife, Rachel, and his three sons - David and his wife, Esther, and their three children, Maya, Tamir and Adam; Leor and his wife, Anne, and their son, Matthew; and Micha and his wife, Rebecca, and their three children, Dana, Maya and Chen. In addition, he leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Noah and Joshua. He will be missed by his family, friends and all those people he touched throughout his life. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, November 6 at 12 noon. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
