GOLDMAN, Jenny (nee Wattenberg) Peacefully in her 81st year after a courageous struggle with multiple myeloma, on Friday, January 8, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Carl. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Mindy Goldman and Bruce Jamison, Avrum Goldman and Annette Joury, and Gail Goldman and Scott Miller. Devoted Bubby of Caroline, Sharon, Isaac, Daniel, Gabrielle, Mason, Owen, and Carl. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Anne and Syd Levitsky, and the late Ruth Auslander. After many years of teaching math at Bialik High School, Jenny remained active in her retirement be it through volunteering in numerous community and Jewish organizations or perusing many cultural and fitness activities. She travelled extensively and had a devoted group of friends with whom she enjoyed spending time. She took particular pleasure in presiding over numerous Friday night dinners and participating in family simchas. She could often be found displaying pictures of her grand-children to her numerous visitors. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends. The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at St. Mary's Hospital for all their compassionate care over the course of her illness. Special thanks to Ronit who has been her devoted companion over the past few years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, January 10 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
