HAIAT, Rebecca (nee Counio) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, January 11, 2015, in her eighty-eighth year. Wife of the late Richard Rizk and the late Isaac Haiat. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Mona Rizk and Robert Mansour. Cherished grandmother of Valerie and Laura Pinkham. Dear sister of Renee Counio, the late Sion Counio, and the late Liliane Stride, and sister-in-law of Leon and Gigi Haiat. Sadly mourned by Nicole and Marc Mitchell, their children, Michèle Telio, Philippe and Nathalie Telio, and their families, and by her extended family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Cardiology Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 65 Brittany Ave. #405, T.M.R., through Friday afternoon.
