FINKELSTEIN, Mary (nee Ghetler) Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Wife of the late Morty. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Courtney Krehbiel of San Diego, Stephen and Carol. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Finkelstein, Tina and Andrew Henle, Laura Finkelstein. Loving great-grandmother of Eliora Popack; Joshua, Matthew and Noah Henle. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Joe and Dorothy Ghetler of Vancouver, and sister-in-law of Doris and the late Lou Gottheil, Claire and the late Manny Finkelstein, the late Belle Dworkin. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Dworkind and the staff of Palliative Care at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as her caregivers, Josie and Marylou, for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 23 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, through Thursday evening.
