MATARASSO, Sarina It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sarina Matarasso on Thursday, September 22, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Hilda and the late Isaac. Loving sister and best friend of Heidi (Howard Bakerman). Much loved aunt of Daniel (Julie), Davina (Michael), Calla, and Chloe. Sarina will be sadly missed by Mel Maitlitz, her cousins, friends, colleagues, students and all of those whose lives she touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery (B-3), de la Savane. Shiva at her home.
