HERTZMAN, Herman. Peacefully in his one hundredth year on Friday April 30, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Anna. Much loved father and father-in-law of Rhona and Bernie Blanshay, Dorothy and the late Bernard Hertzman. Cherished grandpa of Gadi and Dorit of Jerusalem, Carol and Pe'er David of Rehovot, Judy and Trevor Goffman of Hornby Island, B.C., Robert Blanshay of Toronto and Linda Blanshay of Los Angeles. Dear great-grandfather of thirteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Dr. Charles Hertzman and Dr. Max Hertzman. Devoted companion of Millie Holzman. Special "Uncle Hertzie" to his many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Eileen Katz, Daria and the entire staff of Rabiner's Residence for their outstanding care and devotion and to Dr. Earl Edelstein and Dr. Susan Vaitekunas and her team at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday May 2 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
