AKERMAN, Max Surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, in his eighty-sixth year, after a life well lived. Beloved husband of Barbara Joseph for sixty years. Much loved and admired father and father-in-law of Beverly Akerman and Russell Copeman, Shelley Akerman, Aaron Akerman and Petra Niederhauser. Cherished Zaidy of Alex Copeman, Romney Copeman and fiancee Romina Nadeem, Emma Copeman; Maya, Jeremy, Rafael, and Francesca Akerman. Predeceased by his six brothers and sisters. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday April 9 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his son Aaron's home.
