EDELSTEIN, Leon Peacefully, on Sunday, June 24, 2018, in his eighty-first year. Son of the late Myer and the late Bella Edelstein. Beloved husband of Estelle (Esther) Saller. Dear father and father-in-law of Jeff Edelstein, Jeffrey and Faith Rosen. Cherished grandpa of Jessica and Ilana Rosen; Trey, and Lexa Edelstein. Predeceased by his sisters and their spouses, Shirle and Fred, Mary and Leonard, Nancy and David. Dear brother-in-law of the late Eleanor and the late Sam. Leon will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 3C of the Hope Pavilion at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their exceptional care, compassion and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 26 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Jewish Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
