KUCHARSKY, Frances (nee Yaffe) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Kucharsky, on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, after a lengthy illness, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Norman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Cyndi and Max Mintzberg, Judy Kucharsky and Arthur Hiess, and Danny Kucharsky. Cherished grandmother of Kara, Joelle, Jaclyn and Benjamin Mintzberg; Rebecca and Jordana Hiess. Sister of the late Saul Yaffe. Daughter of the late Bessie and the late Joseph Yaffe. Frances was a true original – an independent woman and a progressive thinker with an incredible zest for life. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 7 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in her memory may be made to the MADA Community Centre, (514) 342-4969. |
