KON, Abraham On Thursday, February 4, 2010. Beloved husband for forty-seven years of Marlene. Devoted father and father-in-law of Hena Kon and Robert Pierce, Judy and Shlomo Ben Menachem (Dalfen). Cherished Zaidie of Allan, Erin, Avishai, Yair, Elyasaf, Netanel, Moishe, Ariel, Devir, and Eliashiv. Dear brother and brother-in-law of George and the late Marion Kon, Solly and the late Kathy Cohen, and the late Jean and the late Harvey Weigensberg. Abie will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to Judy and Yigal Epstein and to the staff of Snowdon Residence for their exceptional care and compassion, as well as the staff of 8NW at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 7 at 2:45 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Cemetery. Shiva to be announced.
