SHINDER, Israel (Issie) After a courageous battle, on Sunday, July 5, 2009. Beloved husband of Brenda Pipersberg for forty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Stephen and Helene. Cherished Grandpa of Mackenzie Samantha and Justin Matthew. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lionel and Sheila, Barry and Lynda Shinder. Brother-in-law of Jerry and Jackey Pipersberg, and the late Barbara Fillingham. Issie will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Drs. David Amdursky, Lawrence Panasci, David Melnychuk, Moishe Liberman and Pasquale Ferraro, and to the nurses and staffs of the Jewish General Hospital Segal Cancer Centre and Notre Dame Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 8 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
