NISSENBAUM, Jean (nee Schecter). It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished Jean unexpectedly on Sunday, September 26, 2004 in her eighty-eighth year. Beloved wife of sixty-two years of the late Moses Nissenbaum. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Arlene and Seymour Isenberg, and Laurie and Jerry Mariasine. Proud and treasured Bubbie of Jeff, Lisa and David (Leith), Steven and Michael. Adored great grandmother of Sydney Allison. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lou and the late Lorna Toulch, and the late Esther and the late Jack Brandies. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sincere gratitude to the staff of 4A of the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Our deepest appreciation to Donna Brault for the excellent care and devotion that she provided. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, September 28 at 12:45 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's residence. Due to the Festival of Succot, Shiva ends Wednesday, September 29 at 12 noon. She was a loving person, a truly giving woman, and an inspiration to her family. She will be sadly missed. |
