BERNSTEIN, Irving It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irving on Friday, November 20, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Bernice. Devoted father and father-in-law of Ted Bernstein and Roslyn Fine, Sharon and Wadek Bobak. Cherished grandfather of Lyndsay, Matthew and Jonathan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Nat S. and the late Sarah Bernstein, Rae and the late Victor Resnickoff, Al and the late Minnie Bernstein, the late Sam and the late Esther Bernstein, the late Annie and the late Norman Price. Predeceased by Bernice's siblings and their spouses, Arthur and Kitty King, Annie and Harry Beloff, Margie and Bob Rothstein. Irving will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to his caregiver, Emy for her care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery (1st gate from Victoria), de la Savane. Shiva at his home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Wednesday evening. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Quebec, (514) 871-1551. |
