LEVITT, Ida (Idy) (nee Kemp). Peacefully at home after a very courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Wife and best friend of Moe Levitt. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Sheri, Mickey and Adele, and Doug. Adored grandmother of Karen and Michael Perl, Helena and Stewart Schaefer, Jonathan and Alicia Levitt, Ashley Levitt, Robin and Michael Suliteanu, Tammy and Alan Zelnicker, Howard and Nathalie Levitt, Kori and Mark Appelby, Alissa and Jamie Lemcovitch. Great-grandmother of Sabrina, Joshua, Taylor, Lucas, Maegan, Lauren, Romy, Benjamin, Adam, and Jaclyn. Predeceased by her four siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends, A very special thank you to friend and caregiver Lydia Volovnik, Dr. Michael Dworkind, nurses Carole Beluse, Marie-Claire Choquette, and all of the Von Team for their devotion and outstanding care, and to the CLSC/CDN for their kindness and support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W on Monday, October 24, at 3 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Section, Baron De Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Le Sanctuaire, Phase 3-6150 Avenue du Boise, apt. 7J. Due to the festival of Succot, shiva begins on Wednesday evening October 26.
