SOIFER, Betty (Bluma). On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000. Beloved wife of the late Issie Mendel. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Larry and Marsha, Gloria and Harry Z. Heller, and Sheila and Dr. Harvey Gradinger. Cherished grandmother of Ilana, Melanie, Donna and Kenny Wilder, Sarah, Drs. Helena and Jay Rubin, Deborah and Mark Raphael, Matthew and Abigail Gradinger. Great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Dearly beloved sister and sister-in-law of Sonia and the late Abe Soifer, the late Leah and the late Abe Nudleman, the late Morris and the late Beverly Soifer, Ruth and the late Harry Katz, and all her brothers and sisters who perished in the Holocaust. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, Feb. 11 at 3:15 pm Burial at the Russian Polish Cemetery, de la Savane (Section B-28). Betty was a special lady who touched all hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. |
