BERNARD KAHANE June 13, 1928, Winnipeg. June 24, 2010, Montreal. Died peacefully after a long and loving life. A devoted and proud father and friend; engineer, conservationist, farmer, teacher, mentor, camper and choir member Knew the power of a good hug. Leaves behind his brother Leonard; son Adam and family (Dorothy, Lieneke, Belen, Pulane, Allan); son David and family (Cressida and Solomon); and son Jed and family (France, Simone, Leo, Yann). Funeral to be held Friday, June 25 at 3 p.m., Chesed Shelemas, 935 Beaumont Ave., Montreal. In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible donations can be made to Omega Community Resources, 600 Ave. de l'Eglise, Dorval, Qc, H9S 1R3, where Bernie was a longtime volunteer. |
