WOLFE, Hyman David After a valiant struggle with Alzheimer's, on Thursday, April 4, 2013, in his eighty-second year. Much loved husband and best friend of Thelma Menkes. Devoted father and father-in-law of Lorne and Janet, Jon and Cindy. Nicole, Abigale, and Sophia are left with truly fond memories of their Zeida. Caring brother-in-law of Sid Menkes. Dave earned a flying scholarship in his youth, became a pilot, licensed flying instructor and air-traffic controller. He maintained a deep interest in aviation throughout his life. Special thanks to Sonny and Keeba, and to the staff of 3 South and 7 South at Maimonides. Graveside service on Friday, April 5, at 12:30 p.m. at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6800 Macdonald through Monday evening. Arrangements entrusted to Paperman & Sons.
