LANSKY, Michael April 27, 1925-March 11, 2019 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Lansky on Monday, March 11, 2019, in his ninety-fourth year. Cherished husband and best friend of Helen Lansky (nee Rosen). Loving father and father-in-law of Garry And Vivian (Berrios), Leslie and Donna (Haltrecht), and Lisa and Jeffrey Mangel. Cherished proud "Papa" of Jodi and Etienne Ohl, Hayley and Brad Beres, Josh Lansky, Alexandra, Matthew, and Zachary Mangel. Great-grandfather of Sophie and Adelie Ohl and Ryland Beres. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Gertie and late Justin Hirschheimer, Pearl and the late Irving Lansky, the late Molly and the late Nat Nemeroff, the late Rose and the late Harry Schneider, the late Bernice and the late Irving Fixman, and Issie and the late Ettie Moscovitch. Michael will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers from the CLSC and VA. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
