CRYER, Alma (nee Respitz) Peacefully, with her loving husband by her side, on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Beloved wife, best friend and soul mate of Morty for sixty-seven years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stuart Cryer and Mercedes Steedman, Neil Cryer and RoseMarie Martin, Wendy and Robert Frank. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ingie and Chava Respitz, Beverly and Hy Pantel, and sister-in-law of Marjorie and the late Issie Rishikof. Cherished "Grammy" of Alexie Lalonde-Steedman and Louis-Jean Faucher; Jason Sharpe and Rebecca-Anne Loring-Lee, Sean Cryer; Dana Frank, Adrienne Frank and Josh Kruger. Loving great-grandmother of Marek and Milena Faucher. Alma will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, Cousin Marvin Shulman, and many friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 8D at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 8 at 12 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
