WEIGENSBERG, Gladys (nee Cohen) Peacefully, on Thursday, March 10, 2016, in her eighty-seventh year. Beloved wife of the late Emanuel. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Judith Weigensberg, Cheryl and Rodney Wood. Cherished grandmother of Erika, Miranda, Alexandra, Daniel, Raphael, Cassandra, Brandy, and Marshmallow. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Queenie and the late David Climan, the late Harriet and the late Charles Etcovitch, the late Phyllis and the late William Sucher. Sister-in-law of the late Bernard and the late Audrey Weigensberg. Gladys will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and many friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Stroke Unit at the Jewish General Hospital, and to her loving caregivers, Ronald, Iris, Luisa, Norcita, and Maria. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, March 14 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5950 Cavendish Blvd. #805, C.S.L., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
